How to reach Bari


by PLANE
Bari Airport Karol Wojtyla (www.aeroportidipuglia.it)
located at approximately 9 km NorthWest from the metropolitan city centre, is connected by domestic flights to the international airports of Rome and Milan and also directly connected to many European cities through flights operated by low-cost companies.

From the AIRPORT the city center can be reached

by train
trains of the FERROTRAMVIARIA SPA - ferrovie del Nord Barese connect the Airport Terminal to the city center (Central Railway Station - Bari Centrale stop). The online ticket service allows the purchase of train tickets to and from the Bari Airport. Tickets are one-way only and must be used on the issued date. The train transport is active from 5 am to around midnight and the travel time is about 20 min.

by bus
the shuttle service Tempesta offers a connection from the airport terminal to the city center (Central Railway Station - Piazzale Aldo Moro). On request the shuttle can stop in Piccinni Street (via Piccinni 212) that is at three-minute walk from the Palace Hotel. The ticket cost is 4 Euros and can be purchased exclusively on board. The travel time is approximately about 30 min and the timetable is available at the autoservizi Tempesta website.

by taxi
the Cooperative New Co.Ta.Ba. - NUOVA CO.TA.BA. offers a radio-taxi service with new vehicle and the possibility of payments by credit card. The one-way price to the city center is approximately 23 Euros. (phone : +39 080 5543333)
